1.1 on windows - post content vanishes!

No real rhyme or reason as to timing, but randomly posts that contain a quote seem to lose the NEW portion of the post, all that's left is the quote.

Windows 2003 server, SMF 1.1 - any ideas greatly appreciated!

The code should be relatively transparent to either server.

There's no special script to post, it's out of the box 1.1.  I hadn't seen mention of a similar issue yet, but not sure how many folks (if any) are running it on Windows in the first place.
