what is file zilla or whatever it is.

SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!

Dreamweaver is a html editing program, with some additional features. It can be used to transfer files, but I wouldn't. Just download FileZilla as dtm suggested, or find another ftp program, and then just upload all the files.

In short filezilla is a ftp client. You need to download your copy of SMF from here and unzip and create a folder in your webspace e.g /smf within your public_html directory via ftp.

For more information see:

Installation Guide

An editor like Dreamweaver is no use to you in your installation of SMF.

While Dreamweaver itself is an excellent program, it is best to use a regular FTP client for uploading anything other than standard HTML files.
