phpbb in phpnuke to smf? is it possible? if so, how?

phpBB 2.0.10 in phpnuke to smf? is it possible? if so, how? I wasn't sure which converter to use.  I tried phpnuke converter and game me an error when converting members.  When I try to use the phpbb2 converter I get this error

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB2. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the MySQL account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error MySQL gave was: No Database Selected

Hope someone can point me in the right direction just to grab all the posts from the forum of phpnuke into my smf. I am using stable smf until the conversion is completed
