Upgrade from RC1.1 to 1.2 will it affect mods?

I have the following mods installed: Googlebot & Spiders 1.04; Visual Warning 1.27; Report PM to Admin 0.2.

I really only desperately need the Visual Warning mod to continue working.

If i upgrade from RC1.1 to 1.2 can i expect some or all of the mods to cease functioning?
Presumably i should uninstall all mods before upgrading anyway?

mods will be removed by upgrading...

Some of them may be able to be reapplied... but you'll have to check on each mod individually...
