Ok...  I figured out all the CODE changes that my mods will have to do for RC2.

but, I discovered when trying to upload the mod file for test that RC2 no longer allows boardmod formatted mods? (at least it kept telling me I had a corrupt package...)

so, I went through and reformatted it in the XML style of install...

but it KEEPS telling me that the package in invalid or corrupt...  I am sure there is something simple that I missed...  but I am starting to tear my hair out, because, as far as I can tell, the XML is well-formed!

Anyone have any pointers which could be hanging me up?

Cette erreur est retourner quand smf regarde dans l'entete du mod et ne voit pas d'autorisation pour la version actuelle.
<install for="1.1 RC1"> dans le fichier package-info.xml, on devrait trouver
<install for="1.1 RC2">

This error is to turn over when smf looks in the heading of the MOD and does not see authorization for the current version.
<install for="1.1 RC1"> in the file package-info.xml, one should find
<install for="1.1 RC2">

Kindred if you want to send me the xml file I'll take a look at it.

Mkc the for="" part is not required.

Kindred

Mike I sent the two XML files to you in Email...   let me know if I missed something obvious (I'm sure that's what happened, I just can't figure out what)

I saw nothing wrong with the XML.  I would try removing the for="SMF 1.1 RC2" part to see if that clears it up.

JayBachatero

It's supposed to be 1.1 RC2 not SMF 1.1 RC2.

Actually he had it right I just typed it wrong and put SMF in there

JayBachatero

That's weird.  Are the any extra spaces before or after?
