Saving old data....

I just upgraded but I believe I still have the files from my old board backed up. What files should I use to override the upgrade in order to keep all of my old data such as the membership list and posts?

If you are upgrading then the upgrader will take a backup of your files and MySQL tables.

I'm not sure what you mean by "override the upgrade in order to keep all of my old data"
Do you want to keep a permanent backup of the forum before you upgraded?

If so, use phpmyadmin / export
select the old backed up tables only and then export them as a sql file and save them on your hard drive
