ajax editing destroys subject ?

Hi

I'm having a weird problem.. sometimes when users uses the ajax editing tool (rc2, of course) to edit their message's subject, it's cuts in the middle and &# is added to the end...
so if the subject was: "some pretty long subject with some bla bla words", it is turns out to be: "some pretty long subject with some&#"

any ideas what causes this ?
I tried that on the `test board`, but it's fine here..
i'm using the default template, and the subjects are in Hebrew (maybe that matters?).. editing the message itself is fine.

thanks

H

What browser / theme do you use?

Do you have any mods installed?

Do you have any errors in your error log?

i'm using the default template ...

Anyway, can you have a look at this please, and post the result:
1. Post a new topic on your forum with a full length title. Fill it as much as you can. Count the number of chars.
2. Edit it in ajax way.
3. Count the number of new chars including &#

Only problem is i can't get this error on my side..  :-\

But i see this happend from time to time to the subjects, and then see (by asking them..) that this is happend after they edited the message/subject with the ajax..

----
I do, however, see now that it won't save my changes to the subject after 45 letters (it's not adding the wierd &#, but simply cuts the subject after 45 letters (including spaces))..

Hi

I've found another bug on the ajax-edit..
After editing a message, the link to that specific message is displayed as:
Quoteindex.php?topic=162489.msg1377453#msg%msg_id%

all other messages on the page are fine, of course.. (topic=162489.msg1377452#msg1377452)
