rss feed related question

i was searching and found very little to help for what i am wanting except a post by ivan which was close. i want to set it up so members can subscribe to an rss feed for a SPECIFIC board rather then the entire site. for example they click on general discussion and when that board opens there would be an rss feed button to subscribe to the general disccussion board only. i am using 1.1rc2. if this is something already being used, or if you can post how i would set this up i would be appreciative.
