I Have No Permission To Click On My Ads
I Have Also No Permission Of Excessive Pages Or Ads Impressions

As An Admin If I Hide Ads For My Self I Will Not See Ads And No Chance Of Accidental Clicks
Also If I Hide Ads For Other MemberGruops Like Global Moderators In Permissions They Also Will Not Have A Chance Of Accidental Clicks

But Besides Clicks Their Is Another Term Called Impressions Relative To CPM
As By Hiding Ads I Will Prevent From Accidental Clicks

Can I Also I Prevent From Excessive Impressions
As If In Normal Conditions When Ads Are Displayed To Me If I Daily Make 500+ Page Views (Google Can Ban Account To Invalid Impressions)

What If I Disable Ads For Admin/My Self & I Daily Make 500+ Page Views

Ok previously the Ad Manager was working fine, thought it would be good to update it to the latest version from 2.3 something to 2.6.3.2 so I uninstalled the older version. (Probably a bad idea, I can reload the backed up forum but I'd reather not) Uninstalled fine. Went to install 2.6.3.2 and now got a ton of "test failed" messages. Now what? Manual edits?

Just uncheck Enable Ads under Admin -> Permissions then modify each group and remove the ads permission for admins/mods


Or you can add an entry in the host file if you are scared about accidental clicks but really if you are not clicking once a day or something you are fine.

ummm... if you can not see the ad, and can not click on it...  doesn't that pretty much mean that you are not getting invalid clicks or impressions?

No only using 3 themes really by we recently disabled that feature for members as we have been updating the site and pushed them back to the default theme. So my next question is sould I be able to copy the file from an archive and upload it?

You mean copy files from a backup yeah that should work but just be warned if you had other mods installed on those files they will be overwritten.

second, did you even bother to search? Your questions has been answered at least a dozen times.


third, it means exactly what you think it means... you installed the mod twice. You will have to manually remove the duplicated code.

I'm using the classic theme in SMF version 1.1.11. I cannot find a resource that tells me how to manually put the skyscraper adsense code (long vertical) on the right-side of every page on the forum (I am guessing it is the index.template). I have ad management mod installed and working, but not quite. Does anyone know how to configure the classis theme coding manually to have this vertical ad on the right side (or left)?
