I just did the following to a test forum with the default theme:

1.  I installed 2.0.10 SMF.
2.  I installed the latest Ad Mod.
3.  I installed the latest Responsive Curve.
4.  I added the ads that I had on my currently active forum into the test forum

What I found was that none of the Ads displayed at all.  It was as if they did not exist.

Does this make sense?  Does Responsive Curve not play well with the Ad Mod or did I screw up somehow?

vbgamer45

Haven't tested with responsive curve. What type of ads are you adding.
Did you enable ads for membergroup under permissions?

Is it possible to allow Global Moderators to access the Ad Management mod from the admin panel?
I want a Global Moderator to be able access the ad management package from the admin area without being able to access other areas in the panel.

I am also just trying to set this up but fails several of the tests under the core theme. I do have a different theme which passes the test, can I go ahead and install it under the different theme or have to resolve the core theme issues first?

Execute Modification    ./Themes/core/BoardIndex.template.php    Test failed
2.    Add After    ./Themes/core/BoardIndex.template.php    Test failed
Execute Modification    ./Themes/core/Display.template.php    Test failed
Replace    ./Themes/core/Display.template.php    Test failed
Execute Modification    ./Themes/core/MessageIndex.template.php    Test failed
Replace    ./Themes/core/MessageIndex.template.php    Test failed

Those are the fails, everything else is a go. I'm on v. 2.0.11

Thanks!

Yes you can. If you aren't using the core theme then it doesn't matter

Well ... it's a no go. Installed successfully but the link under Admin->Config not showing. Any suggestions?

I am doing this on a test forum so we can experiment if necessary...

Using SMF 2.0.11 and Ad Management 3.2 the images are not showing up. See http://www.allthingsrecovery.net

Sometimes the images show up and sometimes they do not, even if I do not change anything. Very frustrating! Anyone know whats going on? I have tried using different images .gif, jpg, etc. and it still does not work right most of the time.

Thanks for helping. I want to put my images with the site's files.

This is the code I now have in the Ad Management area to show up on all pages on the right side but it does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry I am new to much of this.

Thanks vbgamer45. I did something to make it work but I still do not know the correct path to put my images for the site with the files. Thanks for the support.

Illori

you dont need to include public_html that is the main folder or root of your whole site.

You may have to skip the mod's theme code for your theme and install it manually. Some themes are coded in such a way that the mod cannot detect the appropriate place to put its own code, or if it can, it isn't always correct.
