Is this mod compatible with 1.06?
I get this error when I try to install this mod:

Install Actions for archive ad_mod_rc2_v1-2.zip:
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

electrohome88, it would be nice to have it change like that. for instance, if you have a site with different interests, like boating and camping then when people enter the boating forum they would see banners advertising boat sites, when they enter the camping forum it would then show banners for camping supply outlets....etc etc.

still a very nice mod and will still use it.......look forward to the progression of it as well.

glad you got it to work, and i'll think about adding a feature that enables you do put the ad on the left side or the right, instead of just the middle

i added a new version today. i had all evening off, so i desided to take a few hours and code some new features.
One of the biggest, is the abilty to remove ads depending on the users group. This is done through their permissions, so select the group permissions. To disable the ads for that group, you just uncheck the permission.

I have also made it so that you can now display ads on the bottom of every page.

And lastly, i made it possible to display an ad after the first post in a thread (Thanks to Joomlaspan for the idea)
