BUG Report: multi-byte username must login twice !

hi all,

    when the username is mulit-byte, such as chinese, japanese and so on , the username first loging will

failed even if the password is correct , but the second login will pass correctly .


      i think this is a bug of smf.

      hope the bug fix soonly.

Yes, this affect all of Chinese users, hope our develop team can handle this, someone check that it's the javascript's encoding string is different from php's encoding string, so that smf thinks it's different.

I think we will have problem when using the page's top login form, i have tested many times, the bottom one don't have problem, really need help!!
