member sign up mod put into specific groups by choice?

hello i was wondering if theres a mod where when some one signs up they have to choose an option in my case they have to choose whether they are a student or a leader. then lets say the user chooses leader they get put into a group called Students and if the user chooses Leader they get put into a group called Leaders. is there any such thing?
