im having a bit of trouble converting an older peice of java script i'm getting this message when i check browser support

The ARCHIVE attribute of the APPLET tag is not supported. [Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0]

how to i change it to support as many browsers and java versions possible

Are you using javascript or java? JS doen't use an applet tag

it must be java because it works with my browser just not other peoples
