Forbidden, someone knows?????

From time to time i`m getting this error
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forum/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


can someone help sorting this??

This error just happens sometimes but it`t driving me mad cause i don`t know how to sort it out, if you can help i would be very tankfull.

If it just happens sometimes and not all the time, then it's what Elmacik said above. Make those changes and it will go away.

Can you see the .htaccess file in your FTP when you create it?
If you cant see, then your host doesnt allow you to use these kind of files and you have nothing to do except asking your host uninstalling that mod_security thingy..

Have you got a link to phpinfo? What is phpinfo.php?
