Bug: boards read/unread status is behaving weird (RC2)

If all unread topics in a board have been read by following direct links (from "all unread" search or "latest posts" list), and the board is not a top-level board (a sub-board of sub-board), then that board's status is not set to "seen" and it remains bolded.

Another thing, that may be a feature, is that when one new topic is read in a top-level board, and there are other unread topics which have not yet been opened, the board is marked as seen anyway and is not bolded, which is inconvinient.

So, for top-level boards, they are marked as "read" too quick. For deeply hidden boards, they aren't marked "read" ever unless you manually visit them.

Tried to make the bug description as clear as possible but its hard logic, so if the problem still is not clear I can elaborate.

Yes its true! I have this problem too.
Some new topics not seen by me are marked read cuz when i click any of the 3 links:
Show new replies to your posts.
Show unread posts since last visit.
No unread topics found since your last visit. Click here to try all unread topics.

none of them show the topics.
so i browse through all boards to see the "new" images next to topics.
