Notify on Edit and Ongoing Thread

Hi, thanks for reading...

I'm after a couple of mods for a board I run as follows:

Notify on Edit

A mod that marks a thread as having new posts when an existing post is edited. If the thread can be marked as edited instead then that would be even better!

Ongoing Thread

A mod that allows a thread creator to tag the first post as ongoing. This will allow people other than the original poster to append the first post.

Since this is the only topic i've been able to find who requests a mod making it able to be notified when a post is modified, i might as well bump it instead of creating a new one.

This feature is something i really need too! It can't be too hard for someone to do this, can it?

I looked at the code a few times and I didn't see anything obvious that would make this easy... but I'd be willing to help!
