SMF doesnt work after MySQL 4.1 upgrade

Hi there,
   I had my forum working perfectly on the tuesday and when i tried to go on it on the wednesday, I just got a blank screen, no error message, just blank.

I since learned that my server tech upgraded mysql in the mean time from 4.0.25-standard to 4.1.

I believe this to be what is causing the problem as nothing else has been changed.

The forum version is smf 1.1 rc2 and is at:
hxxp:www.bigeyearts.co.uk/forum2 [nonactive]

I have since tried to install a new version of the forum:
hxxp:www.bigeyearts.co.uk/forum3 [nonactive]

But when trying to access the install file get the same problem - a blank screen.

Please HELP!!! Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Deffinatly a problem with your host, SMF runs perfectly fine with MySQL 4.1.

Does a simple phpinfo.php page work? What is phpinfo.php?

I have other php scripts which seem to work periodicly. e.g. they will load blank some times, but work if i refresh many times.

Im not sure if its timing out or what what i would have expected an error message at least.

Any Ideas?

Hi again,
   I checked my apache logs and have the following error associated with the page load:

*** glibc detected *** corrupted double-linked list: 0x087b6ff0 ***
[27386] EACCELERATOR: PHP crashed on opline 722 of cleanrequest() at /home/bigeye/public_html/forum2/Sources/QueryString.php:273

I will look into this, thanks for the help anyway.

If you upgraded php as well, you need to recompile eaccelerator.
