Creating page to implement the admin page as well as the templates.

Hey Everyone!

im using smf to run a poker site.

currently i am working on a few pages to use mysql and create a database of all records of tournaments that the site works on.  The plan is to have an admin area to edit the data as well as a way to view it for non-admins on my site.  I sorta know php and mysql... but i am not that familiar with coding in smf.

So i guess the question is... how do i go about putting the admin stuff in the smf admin page, as well as creating the "viewing" pages within the smf site.
