How to ENLARGE my p******* menu bar?

Can someone please point to me where in the code I can play with to enlarge my SMF 1.1RC2 menu bars?
The menu ( FORUM, HELP, SEARCH, PROFILE,....etc) works fine in English Lang but not enough when converted in Japanese Lang. You can't almost read it.

I thought they were just buttons I can enlarge with GIMP, but the fonts won't get bigger neither the graphics.

Open style.css and change the font-size value for the classes .maintab_back, .maintab_active_back and .mirrortab_back, .mirrortab_active_back (default is 9px).
