Add Poll in Existing Topic

I asked how to add a poll to an existing topic in 1.1.RC2 and got a reply that I need to make a new topic with a poll then merge it with th existing thread. but another poster said this is actually already in 1.06 and should be in 1.1RC2 and advised me to report it as bug. please take a look. thanks.

Like I said in the other topic where you discussed this, it's a template bug which has been fixed for the next release. If you don't want to wait you can easily fix it yourself though:

Another member told me in the other thread to report it as a bug so I did anyway, thanks for the link that's really helpful i can add that code now and see if it works.
