News topics and functionality of them

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to link news posts from a script like FusionPHP or CorantoCGI to SMF, to where if I make a news post using FusionPHP/CorantoCGI, it'll appear on the forum as a News Topic in my News forum, and let people make comments on the forum.

Any suggestions are appreciated, or if you need me to elaborate a little more I can..
Or, if I can format news topics and mirror them from the forum onto my main page, then that would be nice also.
