how to set up email config for smf?

hi!

i know to send out email from smf you need an email account.  i have an email account specially made for my forum, but how do i link it up to smf so that i can send announcements, registration info, activation emails, etc...?

Go to, Admin > Server settings, then put you're email in "Webmaster Email Address".
