Grab Forums content as news

Hey guys & gals. I have recently started using smf and i would like to know if there is a mod (i searched but no luck) and if there isn't then this to be seen as a request. My question is that is there anything out there which will grab a certain forums theads (like latest 7) so they can be integrated into the sites homepage as news topics. I.e.

This is a example topic title        Sun Jun 11, '06         No Replies
This is a example topic title        Sun Jun 11, '06         No Replies
This is a example topic title       Sun Jun 11, '06         2 Replies
This is a example topic title        Sun Jun 11, '06         4 Replies
