$$ Child Board New Post Icons

Hello! I'm using a converted YaBB theme and it's boardindex.template.php does NOT show new post icons (aka on2.gif) for child boards. And If I put babylon or default's boardindex.template.php, weird things happen with the catbgs and borders. I'd be willing to pay someone to help me out with this.

Can anyone help me out here? All I want is for the new posts lights to come on when there are new posts in the childboards.

Seems fine to me.. Which weird thing is that?
