SSI output and Themes

There may be some info on this burried in teh forums somwhere, but with a search function <pain> .

Anywhoo, just wondering if it is possible to integrate the current SMF theme into a custom "news" page using ssi_boardNews.

/publichtml/smf/  <--- smf install directory

I am sure that has to be, i am code savy, i just need to know where to look
