The Simple Machines team would like to welcome you to the new site promoting the free forum software SMF! Here you will find information on the forum software, be able to get free support, and chat with fellow users.

The Simple Machines team is a collection of smaller teams. These teams include the Project Managers, Developers, Support Specialists, and MOD developers. Each team includes a team leader in order to keep things organized and free flowing.

While the site is open, SMF is still nearing completion and running here as our community forums. This allows you, the user, to watch the software as it progresses and to offer feedback on this progress.

Please make yourself at home and join us in watching things unfold!

Hehe, if it makes you feel better, I don't think it looks XPish ;)

ROTFL.  It looks great and it's inbetween OS X and Windows XP... and just plain looking good.  Mostly it just looks good.

Glad everyone likes it here ;D.

Well let me clarify, the bubbley look of all the buttons is WinXPish, allthough the icons in the bubbley buttons (like the print button) looks Mac OSish ;)

silverdragon

<lol> For the sake of my sanity, please don't compare it to Windows: Fisher Price Edition...  Er, I mean... Windows XP.

I really, really, really dislike the default look of XP.  Classic view is ok, but the Luna stuff... garbage.  Now that's just my opinion, I'm sure there are some people that like that look, but I personally don't.

Point is, the glass buttons are inspired by a combo of Aqua, my cell phone, and my favorite car.  Windows was never involved in the creation of any graphic I made.

I do appreciate the positive feedback though.  You're all so nice :)

I hear Aqua's real good, never tried it though. Give me a year or so and I'll have a nice Mac all to my own. Damn, parents are SO unsupportive about these things...  :(

Congratulations with the new product and website. It looks very nice indeed.

I really hope all effort and resources will be put into 1 product and this new product is not the result of "different visions" between the developers.
