Not yet ?
Si you don't say "no", I suppose that we can hope that it could be a new feature in a further release ? :) :)

When a visitor goes to my smf homepage, I would like to automatically redirect them to, or display, the list of article categories.

Is this possible?

Thx-

Possible to do requires custom code though

vbgamer45...

I'm using 1.0.1.3 on SMF 1.1.7.  Everything seems to be working fine...except for when it comes to XHTML validation once an article is created.

Here's an example from my site:  What are the jumper settings for Seagate ATA hard drives?

If you follow the above link and then click the validation link at the bottom of the page...you'll see that it fails validation.

Has this been addressed in an update of which I'm not aware?  If so, and I need to download the latest release...do I need to uninstall/delete the previous release before I install it again?  One thing I'm worried about is losing any articles I may have already created.

Hope to hear from you soon...and thanks in advance.

Your template:  Articles.template.php has to be modified.  find "sppan" and replace with "span".

After that...it's all good, my friend.

Didn work , for example I see the article tab in index.template not in Subs.php :sI check and the package manager is loading the smf 1.1.X version[/]

I modify the package-info.xml and everything is working right

Thanks for the mod

vbgamer45

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with 'Links' and 'Articles'...

They are not even showing for guests or regular members (which is getting me a few mails from potential reciprocal link partners...   ::))

I'm running 1.15 (updates fail - I have a custom flash video recorder and it might be the reason why...)

From my admin account, links and articles work AOK (no issues noted on installation), however, guests and regular members don't see a links or articles button and get a 'password message' if they try to access directly from a link.

e.g.   http://www.besteikaiwa.com/forum/index.php?action=links;cat=10

There's nothing wrong with the permissions (triple checked) - I'm not sure if moderators have the glitch or not...

Any ideas anyone?  (I'm really screwed here - I installed the links and went out hunting for reciprocal links - I have dozens of people who've been approached, but can't see a working link from me :()

Hi,

I have an electronic site with a project section, and I found this great mod that I will use for my article section.

It would be great if this mod could take care of both my projects and articles, not sure how to suggest a way to go about it.

*bump*

$10US via PayPal to the person who can fix this for me (make links and articles both display and work properly for all users who have been given the appropriate permissions...)

Should only be 20 mins work for the 'smarties'  8)
