Right...

You'll be happy to know that you have a forum!

Looks like subs.php got screwed, somehow.

Backup everything, before you do much else.

Use the forum for a while and see if anything seems weird.

If much else pops up, it might be best to get the SMF install package and upload everything, again, EXCEPT Settings.php

You really don't want to overwrite that, trust me. :)

That'll mean that most of your mods, if not all, won't work, so you'll have to reinstall them.

I know it's a pain, but back things up, before you install a mod. It really IS the best way. ;)

Thanks Kat.. I really appreciate your expertise and help in doing this for me..I see the forum is up and looks the same..

I was checking in the ACP and there are a few errors showing up when I click on one of the programs..

kat

Yep. Replacing that file screwed up Simple Portal.  :(

It's got to be best to do as I said and upload all the files, overwriting what's there, now. :(

NOT Settings.php, though.

That'll give you a clean forum, with no mods.

The mods'll be in Packages, though, so you can reinstall them.

Can you do that easily enough?

I'm not at home, at the moment, I'm using my laptop. So, to do it from here's gonna take forever.

If it's not something you can do, let me know and I'll get on it as soon as I can, when I get back.

kat

OK. Files replaced.

I've made a post in the admin board, on your site.

Everything seems OK, to me, now.

I notice that you have quite a few themes. You realise, do you, that most mods will require manual editing, to get them to work with most custom themes?

I also noticed a few files were missing. I saw "Fantastico". That could be why.

Also, you might want to get into FTP, mate. Working on a website is SOOOOOOOOO much easier, that way. ;)

Next thing to do, is sort out the mods. Some might still work OK, but I doubt many will, I'm afraid.

Yes running good now.

Themes have been removed.

Correct

Will do my best to learn the FTP, its confusing to me..

I have removed them all, reinstalled one by one. Ones that errored I deleted.

I'd like to thank you Kat for doing this work for me. I surely appreciated this.

Thanks Ron..
PS.. I did a backup also before I started..

kat

Well done, that man!

Always a pleasure, Ron!  :)
