What you mean by "Cron Feature"?

I think he was confused and thought SMF was capable of adding cron jobs.

So no, barath: you cannot create cronjobs using MySQL/PHP alone.

File based caching for a performance increase on all forums regardless of whether an accelerator is installed.

How's the performance of this compared to no caching or standalone accelerators such as eAccelerator and APC? Also, does it increase performance if you already have another accelerator running?

User configurable posts and topics per page

Is this an on-off setting in the Admin CP, or can you enable it within a range, for example 10-50 topics per page?

Not at the time you can disable/enable this feature though.

Never tested it with 2 accelerators but with none its a bit faster than SMF1.1.3 even with all the new features.

Hopefully, that will change in the future. It's a nice little feature, but I don't think I would enable it on my own forum without the possibility of setting a roof on the values the users can choose from...
