Title: caching issues
Post by: ra7en on May 25, 2020, 12:12:13 PM
Not sure if this is in the correct thread.. but here goes

I do believe SMF is caching pages., no matter what theme I switch to, it goes to antoher i was using.
I changed the cache to "no cache"
I delete all the themes execpt the one I want, and left the 2 defaults as it. However, SMF is pulling up a theme that was supposedly DELETED.

So then I thought it is firefox (i have to keep using ctrl-f5 to get the correct theme). But it is doing it on chrome as well, however NOT explorer.

To start I want to eliminate SMF first, I am already trying caching fixes for  chrome and FF, but to no avail.

Anything else I need to do, outside the already mentioned?

Thanks a mint!!

Sounds like your host is using something like Varnish, might want to ask them to disable it.
