If Markdown support comes, I think many people will switch to SMF.

Version
v2.1.x

Description

I can suggestion a site that uses Markdown. Github. A script suggestion is Bludit CMS.

Permissions
Everyone who is a member of the forum and posts.

Feature Set
It is enough to enable it to open and close in the admin panel. It also supports drag and drop in the editor within the forum.

Thanks.

Kindred

Personally,  I hate markdown.  I do not find it intuitive at all.

That being said,  there was a markdown syntax mod a while ago... but that was before we switched to SCEditor.  At this point,  it would almost have to be an sceditor plugin or you would have to DISABLE the wysiwyg editor in favor of the bbs replace with markdown....  either way, a fairly huge undertaking

Please do not PM, IM or Email me with support questions.  You will get better and faster responses in the support boards.  Thank you.

Hello.

I love it and I will use it. The system on my main site has markdown support. I have a hard time transferring content to the forum. How can we activate what you said?

You can't just "activate" it. It would require a whole bunch of new code. That's why Kindred said:

I promise you nothing.

Sesqu... Sesqui... what?
