I can't find any posts about this - but sorry if I missed some
How can I get smileys to work with SMF in Windows 10? You can't click on one or even type the code for the smiley
I hope someone can help - we use them a lot
There was some talk about this issue on this thread- http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=538707.msg3828275#msg3828275
Smileys work fine using Chrome on Win 10
yeah... we know.
There will be an eventual patch (2.0.11) -- but not for a little while.
Thanks to you
br360 - my bad - I am not so bright. I wasn't thinking of the browser
I think I sense some people really hate Microsoft ;) Well I am old-fashioned and like to stick to what I know. And I have always liked IE
Maybe it works in Firefox - I can try that 8)
I believe that it works if you switch edge into ie11 mode...

In that case just use IE11, it's still there in windows 10. Start > All Apps > Windows Accessories > Internet Explorer.
Plus it'll still have all your favourites and cookie info intact, assuming you used it before moving to win 10.
If you want to add it to the taskbar, right click it and click, Pin to taskbar.
Thanks for the help - I will try. But it works in Firefox
