I don't understand the last one, Google keeps asking for it.

from yesterday

Subject: New reasons prevent pages in a sitemap from being indexed on the site polenforum.nl

So you mean NO sitemap links in Google?

Even my host is asking to make one.    :'(

I said nothing about removing sitemaps. I'm all for sitemaps.

I just think in 2024, a forum *should be able to have both available in the core by default*.

Wish I hadn't said anything now.

Totally agree with that as long as the generated site map can include any mods or have hooks, so mods can be included, but that's all well above my level

I still see the Pretty Urls button in admin even though I disabled PU 2 weeks ago..

I want to remove Pretty Urls from my forum, but I found out that in a new download there is an uninstall button, but it can't be found on the forum

Can someone tell me how I can remove it without de uninstalling button???

You would have to manually uninstall...

If the uninstall button is missing - perhaps the version tad you installed is not marked as compatible with the snf version..

Thanks for the link  @vbgamer45

Problem is, there is no package. Most of the settings rules come through Optimus. Such as

domains\polenforum.nl\public_html\forum-over-polen\Sources\Optimus\Addons\PrettyUrls.php

But no package was found

Hi supporters,

After upgrading our forum Cokoye.com from 2.0 to 2.1 everything works fine as much as I can see. However, after installing Prettyy URLs, anytime a user posts url on the forum without "https://"   our full url will automatically be inserted and ///.

For example, if you post simplemachines.org the clickable link will lead you to https://cokoye.com///simplemachines.org

Or post cokoye.com, the clickable link will lead to https://cokoye.com///cokoye.com

Please what is the solution?

Thank you in advance.

But why?
Those urls are the worst of all worlds.  They are not human friendly and use the outdated html

Tar design was useful 15+years ago when search engines could not figure our even the simplest dynamic urls
