Title: Question to future MOD forum
Post by: klumy on August 23, 2003, 04:39:07 PM
Will there be a separate Forum for SMF mods or will the MOD forums for development, MOD ideas be integrated into this forum as child boards?

personally I like the second one. So the users needn't jump between 2 forums and the memberbase would be bigger.
And with the child boards, the overview is still good.

Personally i'd prefer a site for mods than using the forum for them, its just easier to navigate and find what you want.

There is going to be a seperate mod site, not sure of all the details though so someone else can answer :)

Separate is not the right word... it's not exactly separate.

The MOD site will be hosted on the Simple Machines site and UNknown is going to set up a unique way of linking the forums so they seem as one if I'm not mistaken.

so both forums are using the same database? Which means the user just need's to register once, to post in both forums?
