Title: import from yabb 1.3.1 into smf
Post by: deepwaters on May 05, 2004, 06:35:13 PM
i'm using yabb 1.3.1, but after reviewing the features in smf 1 beta 5 i would like to copy the information (users, messages, etc.) from my yabb forum to my new smf forum. how can i get my yabb (flat file) data into my smf mysql dbase?

For now, the easiest way is to convert to YaBB SE and then use the upgrade package to get to SMF.

The converter from 1.3.1 to YaBB SE 1.5.x can be found here:
http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?thread=27367

And YaBB SE (which has to be installed first...) can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=57105

SMF of course can be found on this website, here: (you want the upgrade one.)
