It would be great if we could edit permissions for the "Standard User" membergoup on the "Manage Membergroups" page like all the other membergroups. (Would be great if we could rename it too.)
At the moment if you want to make certain boards invisible for this group you have to edit each board's local permissions (or am I missing something?). This gets rather painfull for large forums.
My brain is not working very well this morning. This is what I *should* have said:

Board access isn't related to permissions. You don't need local permissions to restrict a board to only certain groups.
Ok so how do I make a certain board invisible to the Standard User group?
* Sorry I mean "Regular Members" default group.
Well go to edit board, and untick any groups you don't want to have access, including post count groups.
Sorry I'm getting my terminology mixed up a bit today (not enough sleep :) ).
Yes, you can edit each board individually like that, but with all the other membergroups you can change it on the Edit Membergroups page. *Much* faster.
(Lol maybe I should just delete this thread and try again when my brain is working properly.)
Ahh okay yes i understand. If it's not there.. it probably should be.
Sorry about not being clear and succinct to begin with :-X
I can only support this request. I Spent lot of time restricting access for regular users.
I too would like the option to edit the 'Regular members' group in the Edit Membergroups panel.
I don't like the regular members. I want to limit members with "0" posts to only show members & another agreement page. but the regular members group gives them access to show all the other boards.
???

You'll just have to manually remove their access from each board.
