Heres a screenshot i've taked from a non smf forum. But i'd like some of the features that they have.

1. A Calendar on the right side of the board where i can create my own art-work and display for each month
2. A Message to show to guests. People that are not registered
3. A List of last login member and what time they logged in
4. Misc boxes on the right (& may left) where we can put anything we want including HTML
I would appreciate it if you could point me in the direction of where to find these.
(i don't want them to look like the theme in the screenshot, I use default them "Ig Oh")

you'll probably want something like Tiny Portal (http://tinyportal.net)
if you get tiny portal each one of those boxes on the front is fully customizable as far as content and what type of box. they are also fully movable.
