Title: Bridge with new patch for 1.1RC3?
Post by: afonic on October 30, 2006, 09:45:49 AM
Hi,

has anyone tried installing the 1.1RC3 patch released today (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=123285.0) with the 1.1.6 bridge? Please report any problems you may have had or if everything went smoothly.

It worked fine in my test site, I just need a little feedback before I install it in "live" websites.

Thanks.

why would it cause any problems? The patch changes some of the SMF Source files, but nothing that would affect the bridge in any way...

Hi,

I didn't check at all what files they changed etc, just wanted to ask for any possible problems, as some mods appear to have. Good to see that it works, I can now start installing the bridge to production sites.

@baladeva:
That happened with the last patch as well. Not really a problem, you install unwrapped and are ready to go.

Since the bridge makes no changes to SMF, upgrade patches should not affect the functionality.
