Title: Losing my Themes Background Image when wrapping
Post by: Troy McClure on November 03, 2006, 09:24:34 PM
I am in the process of testing to moving my current forum to Joomla/SMF.  I bought a template from joomlashack (Element) and when I select Forum from my menu the left and right of the background changes from the joomla original background to just white.  If I just set the forum up to be reached by a wrapper link then it is fine but definitely not as quick as the menu item created when installing the bridge.

I know this is picky but where do I start to find the issue?  I have tried the use SMF CSS in other pages and it has no change either way.  Other SMF themes react the same way as well.  I know modifying code somewhere in the bridge is probably the solution but is there a css file associated with the bridge?

Thanks,

Troy

either use an smf theme that is designed for wrapping or clean up the CSS in your smf theme to remove the duplicate tags... especially the body tag.

Thank you for the response.  I am still in the testing phase so I really have not decided on an SMF theme yet so moving to one that is designed for wrapping is not an issue.  With thay being said, I am doing a search for "theme designed wrap" and am not coming up with anything.  What are the key words I would be looking for?

Thanks,

Troy
