Title: SpaceSea v2.1 (SMF 1.1)
Post by: Raptus on December 09, 2006, 03:06:44 AM
Link to the theme (http://themes.simplemachines.org/index.php?lemma=168)

This is the 1.1 compatible version of a theme I had announced quite a while ago for 1.0.x, but never got to actually releasing.

Motivation for this theme was that I prefer dark background/light font while actually usable themes of that kind are rather rare.

Theme name: SpaceSea v2.1
Author: me (Raptus, a.k.a. sknop)
Based on: Babylon for SMF 1.1
Live Demo: http://forum.vaidigital.com.br
Languages: English, Brazilian Portuguese

Please report any issues.

I visited your demo site and it looks great.

However, while SMF 1.1 claimed it installed successfully, when I actually selected it as my theme, the colouring didn't seem to take effect.  That is, the various components moved to the proper locations on the screen for your theme, but the colouring still looked like Babylon. I think you need to take another look at this on a 1.1 Final forum.

Same here plus images didn't show up - the image link is to the babylon folder. And installing the theme destroyed the ability to change themes so that I had to take the quick and dirty solution and restored the database from the backup!

OMG! I'm sorry, i didn't experience any of this.

I am investigating and will post any update.

@Feldon: The template was completely (re)developed on 1.1 final.

Ok, got it:
I thought the <based-on> tag in theme_info.xml was purely informative, but SMF uses the inserted string as folder if set.

I am uploading a corrected package. Sorry for the inconvenience.
