Title: SMF Enhanced
Post by: kampkrusty on December 24, 2006, 04:58:02 PM
Link to the theme (http://themes.simplemachines.org/index.php?lemma=183)
(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthemes.simplemachines.org%2Findex.php%2Faction%2Cdownload%2Flemma%2C183%2Fimage%2Cthumb&hash=d52aecff17a2f25acb9de11033eab5f7002c1cca)

A Cleaner Version of the Core theme based on the IPB Enhanced theme.  This theme uses blue-grays to achieve a cleaner look than the standard SMF Core theme.

See it in action at

I have just got this theme up on a site of mine and was playing with the validation. It would not validate until I made a change to what you had in the footer. So I replaced it with thisand now it passes validation:

<br />SMF Theme Designed by<i /> <a href="http://styles.blockoland.net">JG Styles<i /></a><br />Based on the IPB Enhanced Theme by Ghost

I did NOT remove it just made changes and now this theme passes validation, both of them. :)
Very nice theme, btw. I like it alot.

Just wanted to notify you that the download link is currently unavailable.
I received this message when i was trying to download it:

"Fatal error: Function name must be a string in /home/*******/public_html/custom/themes/Sources/Details.php on line 340"

Cheers.

AwwLilMaggie: Lets keep the security here on SM.org :P, also, this isnt releated to the theme, and it has been fixed.

I downloaded the theme today at 6PM GMT, is the change included?

Also, I love this theme except for the colours of the font on the main background, they're too dark. Which part in the CSS do I change?

i just have to say that theres one thing wrong, the part that says

(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgfximpulse.blankcolors.com%2Fforum%2FThemes%2Fenhanced%2Fimages%2Fnew_some.gif&hash=1923211f320ec08db027c5a9bab98618fd30c280) New Posts
(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgfximpulse.blankcolors.com%2Fforum%2FThemes%2Fenhanced%2Fimages%2Fnew_none.gif&hash=5bcc09ebb122602c77cfbbb9f0625aceae2a42f2) No New Posts

is instead replaces by your custom buttons

(https://www.simplemachines.org/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fgfximpulse.blankcolors.com%2Fforum%2FThemes%2Fenhanced%2Fimages%2Foff.gif&hash=4e19d55255ae8a880ec003b932caa78f0a7438a4)

so, you might want to fix the new posts and no new post buttons. :D

<br />SMF Theme Designed by<i /> <a href="http://www.jgstyles.info">JG Styles<i /></a><br />Based on the IPB Enhanced Theme by Ghost
This is incorrect - The <i /> doesn't do anything! :P
Replace this with:

<br />SMF Theme Designed by <i><a href="http://www.jgstyles.info">JG Styles</a></i><br />Based on the IPB Enhanced Theme by Ghost

all themes work with Simple Portal, but you will need to add the forum tab to it, there is a tutorial on simpleportal on how to do this
