Title: Installing new SMF bridge: Checkinputarray error message
Post by: SmittyNY on January 24, 2007, 01:18:47 AM
I've uninstalled that JoomlaHacks bridge and successfully installed SMF Bridge v1.1.6
Upon selecting the bridge link to the forum. I receive the following error message...

QuoteFatal error: Cannot redeclare checkinputarray()
(previously declared in /home/public_html/globals.php:32)

Therefor the bridge isn't working and I need a resolve.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

SMF v 1.1 RC2
Joomla v. 1.1.1
CommunityBuilder 1.0.2

Then you did not successfully uninstall the joomlahacks integration.

You will most likely need to upload clean SMF and Joomla files, as that integration modifies both SMF and Joomla files.

Would you be able to give me direction as to where I should look for SMF files to overwrite. I believe I've corrected the necessary Joomla files. Perhaps a link to an instructional page which helps people who wish to switch from Joomlahacks bridge to SMF 1.1 Joomla Bridge 1.1.6?

I have no idea which files it alters.  I would say you are best to upload ALL clean SMF files, just to be sure.

That's ok!  I figured this out!  The problem was my poor spelling in the absolute path to SMF.  Issue resolved!
