Title: Missing visual verification screen
Post by: Lee123 on January 27, 2007, 05:03:08 PM
Hi, I'm using SMF 1.1.1 and the screen for visual verification is not showing. My forum is installed through godaddy's installation procedure.

Am I missing a graphic library or something to make the image show up?

Thanks for your replies.

Hello and welcome to SMF!

What theme are you using?

In themes/your theme name/fonts do you have 4 folders and 8 files?

Do you have GD installed --> Go to admin --> Support and Credits and you should see something like: GD version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible)

I'm using the default theme.

I don't know how to go to my directory since I used godaddy's installation for smf. Is the directory located on  http://(MyDomainName)/Themes/default?

It shows GD version: bundled (2.0.28 compatible). Is GD disabled by default? After reading some threads in this forum, I think I need to enable GD but I don't know how to do that. Can you give me a site that shows a step-by-step instruction and not too technical on enabling GD?

Hi,

I am going through the old unsolved support topics. Did you get this resolved? If not then you would use an FTP client to navigate to your forum's theme directory. You can find plenty of freeware clients at www.snapfiles.com if you'd like.
