when i installed the XTsmf theme i would get this on my user-info box!
Notice: Undefined index: hello_member in /home/sports/public_html/forum/Themes/xtSMF1/index.template.php on line 181
how would i take this off? please help! thanks in advance.

Im not sure what you mean by old language files..but im using SMF 1.0 Beta 5 Public.
How do I upgrade to Rc1?

You've probably realized this, but that theme was designed for a newer version of SMF... the current version, as of now.
