Title: After conversion - lost administrator status

After converting phpbb2 to smf I was no longer admin and my u/n and pass reported to be incorect. What now? Help!

If your account still exists, you could run this query in phpMyAdmin

Code Select

UPDATE smf_members SET ID_GROUP = '1' WHERE memberName = 'yourusername';

Thank You, but I think that my accout is lost, and prev. admin take my place.

Very odd. There were no errors during conversion?

To gain admin access again, you could register a new account for yourself and run that same query in phpMyAdmin. With that admin account, you can change the password and membergroup for your old account to make it work again.
