SMF is free, will remain free and in my opinion it's the best forum available :)

What exactly do you need help with?
Time and date can be changed here:
Admin panel -> Features and Options -> Default time format and Overall time offset

Just look at the time SMF gives, then look at the current time where you live.
Then you do some math.
If SMF says it's 2:26am then you have to enter -1 by the offset.
If it says its 0:26 then you have to add +1

The value for your country as compared with the server time. Look at the server time (the time currently displayed) and then add or subtract the hours required to make it your local time.

*Cinderella*,

As you have been informed in your other threads, MOST of the problems you have are because you are using 'SMF for Free' - (http://www.smfsupport.com/support/) - The majority of users on this forum, (simplemachines.org) do not use 'SMF for Free'. (This is really confusing as SMF is free and *Cinderella* doesn't understand the difference between the two, and I'm not sure how to explain it to them in simple terms???)

What you have at the moment is an SMF forum provided by someone else. (Your host)

Your host controls everything regarding the server, ie Date/time, adverts, MODs, etc.

I would suggest you get yourself a 'normal' host. You can then obtain SMF from here, and install it yourself, that way you will have full control of your forum.
