Title: Packages [<-- Ugh]...What am I doing wrong here?
Post by: occsceo on August 04, 2007, 01:49:22 AM
SMF Version: SMF 1.1.3
Installed 1.1.3, it installed and functions as stated on the website. I'm running IIS6 on W2k3 w/ Php 5.1.6

However!

I am unable to install ANY package. They upload, install, and appear to be *working* but they don't work. I've been all over the forum looking and attempting fixes. After about 12 hours at the keyboard, I reinstalled and I am looking at a fresh copy of SMF.

The one error that I get for every package:
512: package_flush_cache(): some files are still not writable
File: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\weststaterap.com\forums\Sources\Subs-Package.php
Line: 1905

The other is:
2: fopen(C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\weststaterap.com\forums\Sources/Gallery.php) [<a href='function.fopen'>function.fopen</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
File: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\weststaterap.com\forums\Sources\Subs-Package.php
Line: 1901

Again, I get these for every package I try to install. Any thoughts?

Quote512: package_flush_cache(): some files are still not writable

Make sure all the necessary files can be modified by the IIS user :)
