I was just wondering if any of you savvy programmers have come up with a way to display SMF within the iframe of Joomla without bridging it. The current wrapping of SMF within Joomla takes away the capability of providing unique urls to the board . Is there a way a custom template or code can be written which will be added to the SMF (index.template) that will pull the side and top menus of the Joomla install? In that way the you would a wrapper placeholder and point it to the SMF url ( with the custom template as the default?) - This is the only way someone can have a functional Joomla+SMF integration BUT without shared users or permissions.
