Title: Mambo/SMF Registration agreement.
Post by: redbird on November 16, 2004, 11:32:16 AM
I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, I did look first, sorry if I missed it.

One thing I noticed about using the SMF bridge for Mambo is that when new users register they bypass the registration agreement.
What I did was to open the language folder and go to english.php in mambo. Then you can edit the text of the registration email sent out by mambo to include the SMF registration agreement. You can then ask that they read the User Agreement and stipulate that by activating this account they agree to be bound under the terms of the user agreement of xxxxx.com.
If your new to some of this stuff like I am be sure to add an \ when you use a comma.
Can\'t not can't or you will get a parse error.

That's a great idea.   8)

I will be adding the agreement to the registration page.

Thanks.

Do you mean you'll be adding the member agreement by changing something on your site or with a future release of the bridge files?
